Toronto, Ontario – Thursday, March 29, 2012 - On Friday March 23, at Bymark Restaurant in Toronto, music industry luminaries gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and careers of Larry Wanagas, Donald K. Tarlton and Terry Flood at the 6th Annual MMF Honour Roll Reception and Dinner. This lavish event and highlight of Slacker Canadian Music Week was attended by over 130 leaders of the music and management industries. Industry leader Larry Wanagas of Bumstead Productions was presented with his Honour Roll Award, joining the ranks of Bernie Finkelstein, Bruce Allen, Ray Danniels, Sam Feldman and Terry McBride. Donald K. Tarlton and Terry Flood received their Pioneer Awards, an award created by MMF Canada to celebrate the contributions of those who were instrumental in building the artist management industry in Canada.

Wanagas was inducted into the ranks by Bob Hunka (SOCAN LA) who delivered a heartfelt tribute to his long-time friend and colleague. Wanagas personally accepted this honour and did so surrounded by friends and family. Honour Roll attendees were also treated to an acoustic performance by Prince Edward Island singer/songwriter Tim Chaisson.

In addition to the Honour Roll Presentation, MMF Canada also chose this evening to present the third Pioneer Award to both Donald K Tarlton and Terry Flood. “Parkside” Mike Renaud (President of Hidden Pony Records/Upper Management) was on hand to present this honour to his mentors, and did so with style and wit.
